Weekend Of Firsts

Friday, my band Total Eclipse, (including fellow bloggers Paul and Jerry,) played a show in Elk Grove (Sacramento) for their Hot Summer Nights concert series, for our largest audience ever! My first time ever singing rock music for such a large crowd. What a rush! Then today, (Sunday,) we all went to the California State Fair, (a first for me, despite growing up less than an hour from Sacramento!) This was Paul’s second time, and he’s only been here 10 years. Also, at the fair, Paul and i attended our first ever horse races, and Paul even bet. Jerry is an old pro at it, so he showed us the ropes. Honestly though, that’s the California State Fair? Really? Oh well, it was fun, and it was close, and it was a first! Enjoy the pics.
